Zvorničko Lake is an artificial accumulation formed by the realization of the hydroelectric power station “Zvornik” on the narrowest part of the river, at the end of the well-known canyon of the river Drina. The lake is 25km in length with the average depth of 5-8m.

The lake extends upstream from Mali Zvornik to the mouth of Velika Reka stream in the village of the same name. Velika Reka is located on the arterial road Belgrade – Šabac – Bajina Bašta, about 20 kilometers upstream from Mali Zvornik.
